Paneer on the pan

2 tbs butter
small piece grated ginger
2 cups diced paneer
Kashmiri chilli powder – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Peas (optional)

Method

* Throw in all the ingredients for gravy as well as spices into the IP, add about half cup of water and turn it on manual high pressure mode for 10 min. Let it release pressure naturally.

* Remove the black cardamom and cinnamon stick from the gravy.

* Using an immersion blender, blend the gravy into a smooth paste.

* In a separate pan, melt some butter.

* Add paneer cubes and saute for a few min until they are brownish on either side.

* Add Kashmiri Chili powder and salt and quickly toss it around for a min (taking care not to burn the chilli powder)

* Pour in the blended gravy and cook (uncovered) for about 5 min.
